- We must, at all times, remember that we are ladies and must be considerate, kind and courteous to each other and those around us.
- Dorry is the Chapter Queen and founder member of Bardwell Batty Bees. Membership is open to all women but at the discretion of the Queen and existing members.
- Neither the Queen nor any member is obliged to attend every event. We are totally free to choose what we do!
- All members are required to wear colours at all our functions and activities. This means RED on the head and PURPLE on the shoulder and does apply to everyone! If this is not acceptable why be a Red Hat Lady?? Exceptions are made for new members to allow for wardrobe gathering. We will always help trawl the charity shops with you!
- What we do doesn't have to be exciting in it’s own right (although it often is) but getting together with like-minded ladies in our colours and going around town gives a tremendous lift. We lunch, party, take tea, party, visit theatres and stately homes and exhibitions and party. We are also up to try anything else you can think of. Give us the idea and we will do our best! We enjoy getting together with other chapters for events and attend the national Convention every year.
